Shot this outdoors around noon.  Working on shooting more photos in direct, harsh sunlight.  I’m also playing around with angles that I usually can’t explore in the studio, like these low-angle shots that reveal the sky (there’s nothing all that interesting about my ceiling).  Added a bit of a blue flare in the upper-left hand corner in post.
This is definitely not the kind of image you’d send over to the booker at an agency (you can’t see her face), but it is an image I personally find a lot of value in.  It’s got a mood and it implies a slight narrative. It doesn’t occupy a space in a definite sequence of beginning, middle, or end, but it is a moment in time that, to me anyway, feels organic, and therefore, truthful.  It’s a decisive moment regardless of whether it was a single snapshot or one image of a hundred.
